How can users who have received 2022 (Phase I) Consumption Voucher through AlipayHK account continue to receive 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher through AlipayHK account?
Eligibility Criteria of the 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme
- being aged 18 or above on or before 13 June 2022; and
- as at 13 June 2022,
- being a Hong Kong permanent resident holding a valid Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card ("HKPIC") or a valid Certificate of Exemption ("EC") issued by the Commissioner of Registration under the Registration of Persons Regulations, Cap. 177A; or
- being a Hong Kong resident holding a valid Hong Kong Identity Card ("HKIC") or EC issued by the Commissioner of Registration under the Registration of Persons Regulations, Cap. 177A, who has come to Hong Kong on Permit for Proceeding to Hong Kong and Macao (commonly known as "One Way Permit") or, who has valid permission to remain in Hong Kong as a dependant sponsored by 2(a) above; or
- being a Hong Kong resident holding a valid HKIC or EC issued by the Commissioner of Registration under the Registration of Persons Regulations, Cap. 177A, who has valid permission to remain in Hong Kong and not belonging to the types of persons referred to in 2(b) above; and
- not having permanently departed from Hong Kong nor having such intention.
Does the account need to be verified when registering for the 2022 Consumption Voucher Scheme?
No need. Unverified users can still register for the 2022 Consumption Voucher Scheme.
Can the consumption vouchers of Phase I and II be used together?
For those users who have chosen AlipayHK for receiving the consumptions vouchers in Phase I and II, all vouchers can be used together within the expiry dates.
Disbursement dates of 2022 Consumption Voucher Scheme (Phase II) for new registrants
New eligible registrants may receive consumption voucher(s) with total value of $5,000 or $10,000 by instalments according to their category. (Please click here to learn more about the eligibility criteria and voucher value.)
- First consumption voucher ($2,000) will be disbursed on 7 August 2022 (valid until 28 February 2023)
- Second consumption voucher ($3,000) will be disbursed on 1 October 2022 (valid until 28 February 2023)
If the total value of vouchers is $10000:
- First consumption voucher ($3,000) will be disbursed on 7 August 2022 (valid until 30 April 2023)
- Second consumption voucher ($3,000) will be disbursed on 1 October 2022 (valid until 30 April 2023)
- Third consumption voucher ($4,000) will be disbursed on 1 December 2022 (valid until 30 April 2023)
Disbursement dates of 2022 Consumption Voucher Scheme (Phase II) for existing registrants
- First consumption voucher ($2,000) will be disbursed on 7 August 2022 (valid until 28 February 2023)
- Second consumption voucher ($3,000) will be disbursed on 1 October 2022 (valid until 28 February 2023)
What should I do if the AlipayHK account for receiving the 2022 (Phase I) consumption voucher has been cancelled?
Users are required to register for another AlipayHK account and re-register for 2022 Consumption Voucher Scheme through the registration portal in the Consumption Voucher Scheme website.

What are the registration methods?
- Users who have chosen AlipayHK for receiving consumption vouchers do not need to re-register and will be disbursed with $5,000 vouchers by instalments according to their eligibility.
- Eligible persons may register for 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme (applicable to new registrants) from 23 June 2022 to 23 July 2022 through the registration portal (click here to the registration portal) in the Scheme Website
When is the deadline for new registration or changing the stored value facility?
The registration period for 2022 (Phase II) Consumption Voucher Scheme ("CVS") is from 23 June to 23 July 2022, i.e. around one month.
Can one register for the Consumption Voucher Scheme on behalf of another person?
To minimise disputes and the risk of fraudulent use of personal data by other people, eligible persons are encouraged to register by themselves as far as possible. They should only ask their trusted relatives or friends to help them register if necessary. People may also visit one of the temporary service centres to register/amend their registration records through the electronic registration portal with the assistance of the centre staff.
What if the personal information or Specific Identifier is registered by someone else?
Any person who discovers fraudulent use of his/her identity for registration/amending registration records should immediately contact the Consumption Voucher Scheme Secretariat by calling the Scheme hotline 18 5000. The Secretariat will, in the light of the circumstances of the case, take appropriate follow-up actions, including suspending the disbursement of consumption voucher to the SVF account specified by the registrant in the earlier successful registration/amendment of registration records and requesting the registrant concerned to contact the Secretariat for verification of identity. Registrants who think that there is fraudulent use of their personal data may also consider calling the Police for assistance.
If I want to change the mobile phone number bound to my AlipayHK account after successful registration, do I need to modify the registration information through the CVS website?
No need.

In general, an SMS message will be sent to inform the new registrant of the registration result around one week after submitting their registration.
